Frequently Asked Questions

Our priority is to continue keeping our community safe. We will remain in accordance with CDC and local guidelines pertaining to COVID-19. Please become familiar with our established specific protocols for both staff and students.

Let's work together by adhering to these guidelines to keep our community and one another safe. We appreciate your agreement in advance.

*With the recent spike in cases, mask are mandatory for all indoor class. Effective December 22nd 2021. Thank you.

 

What are your studios protocols?

  • Pre-registration is required. Late attendees and walk-ins will not be admitted.

  • All students will be required to have their temperature checked upon entry to our indoor space. Individuals with a temperature exceeding 100 degrees will be denied entry.

  • Vaccination records must be shared prior to practicing indoors for the first time.

  • Please note the items below with the * are no longer in effect due to the recent spike in cases. Effective 12/22/2021 masks are required to be worn by students and staff for ALL INDOOR classes. Thank you for understanding.

  • *Individuals who are not vaccinated must wear and practice with a mask.

  • *Masks must be worn indoors at all times (even when sitting on our mats) up until class begins and the instructor announces masks are allowed to be removed.

  • *Only vaccinated students who have a vaccination card on record with us may remove their masks during practice, should they choose to do so.

Do I need to be vaccinated to practice indoors?

No. Students who are not vaccinated may practice indoors, but must wear a mask for the entire duration indoors, including during practice.

In following CDC guidelines, students who wish to practice indoors *without a mask will only be optional for those who have a vaccination card on record.

How do I share my proof of vaccination record card?

Students who wish to practice indoors without their masks must submit their vaccination record cards prior to coming to the studio by emailing a copy to info@merakiyogini.com. These records will be connected to your student profile.

Will the studio provide props?

No. At this time, for your health and safety, students are required to bring their own props. This includes yoga mats, blocks, blankets, straps and bolsters for indoor classes.

No rentals or use of shared props will be offered for indoor classes.

Do I need to pre-register for class?

Yes. Because indoor studio attendance is limited to 14 students, pre-registration is required. Late attendees and walk-ins will not be admitted.

What sanitation and safety precautions in place?

All common spaces and surfaces categorized as “high frequency touch” will be cleaned and appropriately disinfected often. Plus, hand sanitizer is available at the front desk upon entry.

Lastly, for your health and safety, students are required to bring their own props.
